Something to be relished on a warm spring day or any day really! Freshly shucked oysters anyone?
Not the best bottle, but still very enjoyable. Still one in the cellar…
Notes from a previous tasting.
NOSE: Very delicate and elegant nose. White peach and stonefruit, citrus, citrus blossom, toasty, hints of honeysuckle, truffle, strawberry and cut apple.
PALATE: Very nice citrus, white peach, honey and a dash of golden delicious. A slight dosage provides a soft, round, off dry palate with fine mousse and exquisite finesse. With good crisp acid balancing, the wine shows great intensity. Beautiful line and length.
DRINK: 5-10yrs. Still surprisingly youthful.
ANOTHER GLASS? Yes please! Beautiful and VERY drinkable.
