A nice suprise, from this Coonawarra producer. It is a complex and savoury Tempranillo that will go very well with food. Well worth trying if you enjoy medium bodied reds. Nose: A complex and savoury mix of red and black fruit. Nice cedar, leather and earthiness underlying beautiful ripe fruit. Palate: The nose follows through onto the palate, with plum, cherry, fine slightly drying tannins and a nice lingering finish. Drink over 5 years. 18.5/20 Food Match: Tapas or roast lamb.
