Champagne is a beautiful place, famous for all things bubbly. Most know it for the big houses, such as Moet et Chandon, Bollinger, Veuve Clicquot etc. For me the real stars are the grower & "garage" producers, who make wines of impeccable quality with a sense of place.

Many sell their grapes to the large houses, keeping the best for themselves to make truly great Champagnes. The price of grapes in Champagne can be so high that grape growers are able to pay for their own winemaking, allowing them to concentrate on small batch, ultra premium production. We will have a look at some of the top producers both big and small, plus a few flying under the radar. Including Michel Arnould, Jean Milan, an evening with David Léclapart and tour of Bollinger.
